What did you think of the Prime Minister's speech this week, and what should be the top priority in the budget?What I’m hearing a lot of from every aspect of media is people are not happy about the winter payments.
Honestly I do view this differently. As I believe most people are in the same boat no matter age. There can be a family of 4 where the mother can’t work that would have no help from government and expect to pay for her heating. Which more than likely doesn’t put it in because the cost is too high. You don’t have to be of pension age to be getting this. Or now in this case born before a certain point and claiming pension credit. Each person is different and it’s just not thought of at all. Cost is only going up and when you have families the cost is going to be more than a single or couple.
Sometimes it’s frustrating. We all need help in various ways. We all need the cost of heating to go down and we all need the cost of food to go down.
