Struggling to pay bills, feed the family and deal with the emotional impact of having an autistic child who has been emotionally manipulated by her father and is struggling with her bond with me. She feels guilty for loving me because her father has spent so many years abusing me that she feels being nice to me is going against her father and that she’s doing something wrong. I’m really struggling with her behaviour. We have very little support and the fact that the government and Sunak is talking about cutting money to disabled people is leaving me wondering what will happen to my daughter? If we have our benefits cut or stopped this is going to lead us to be further alienated from the community. I wouldn’t be able to fund the private support I have to pay for because our council doesn’t have enough funding to provide this for us.
