With every new school year there is change. This year my youngest child has reached a more independent age, he is now able to travel back and forth from school unaccompanied. This is a pivotal year for us both and makes me think of the passage of time. Next year I will be forced to work more hours or face punishment by the DWP. I have accepted my UC commitments and am therefore bound by them and at the last face to face meeting I was warned, although I do make the threshold of required hours.
