Q&A

Charles K

What changes are happening in your life and how are they impacting you?

A change coming up is now my youngest is 16. She going into a pre supported internship. And we were about to lose child benefit for her, my universal credit claim payments for her as well, and also the child maintenance payments for her, because I'm a single parent and their mother pays maintenance. So we're about to lose, or I'm about to lose 400 pounds of a single family, which is a month, which is going to be quite a hard hit. So there's going to be lots of savings, lots of crimping and reaching into paperwork. So although it's great that they're all on their own little paths, it is quite a big financial hit as well, at times in their lives. So, yeah, that could be our next biggest, biggest target and challenge to face as a family.
