I've been asked to be the Treasurer for a newly formed charity, and have accepted the position.

I've been asked to set up the bank account for the organisation and to also be in charge of any money that the charity makes and bank it too.

I am feeling a little nervous about the role because I have never done it before, but excited too because I'll be doing something positive for the community.
