Emese Mayhew

University of York

I am Emese, I am working as a group discussion facilitator for this project.

I live in York, with my husband Peter, our two teenage daughters and our little jackapoo, Pippa. Currently, I am finishing my PhD about Social Connections at the University of York, afterwards I am hoping to do research around disability and neurodiversity. In my spare time, I like to swim, read and crochet. I am also a Buddhist, which means I try to live mindfully. It’s a work in progress!

I hope this project will show policy makers the diversity behind lived experience and give minority groups a platform to have their voices heard.
